4th of July

We had a great 4th of July! Nama and Papa were here so we spent the day with them. After a late breakfast at the donut shop (yumm!) we looked at a few model homes to get ideas for the Wyse Resort. Then we went back home where we grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. Unfortunately Nama and Papa had to leave later that afternoon, so the 3 of us went to the city park to watch the fireworks show. Addison had a great time running around the soccer fields after being loaded up with sugar from the Beaver Nuggets (gotta love Buccee's...it's a Texas thing) that Papa brought her. She loved the fireworks and kept saying "Whoa" and "Wow." Then she'd say "Bye bye fireworks." Then she heard people talking about the sparklers at the end of some of the fireworks, but she called them "Pinkles". She was exhausted by the time we got home at 10:20! Luckily for us she slept until after 9:30.
