Atlanta, Here We Come
On Friday Addison took her first plane trip to Atlanta to visit her daddy's family. Even with a 4 hour delay, Addison did great! She didn't cry at all in the airport or on the plane! What a relief! Here we are after a looooong day of traveling. We were very excited to see Addison's Grandmommy and Grandaddy at the airport in Atlanta.

On Saturday Addison got to attend her first Georgia Tech tailgate...a very important Wells tradition. She also got to meet her aunt Kim and cousin Lainey for the first time. After that we spent the day at the Gaster's house where she also got to meet her uncle Jim and cousin Liza. She slept most of the day...she was wiped out after the long day of traveling the day before.
On Sunday we took Addison to church to meet lots of people. After church Addison got to meet Aunt Kendall, Uncle Scott, and her cousins Griffin and Molly for the first time. She was busy today! Unfortunately Kacey had to fly back to Houston late Sunday night so he could be at work Monday morning.

Kacey gave Griffin a lesson changing a diaper. It was quite a sight watching him give detailed instructions. Griffin just laughed and laughed as sometimes Addison is a little tooter while getting her diaper changed!
Monday was a crazy day! We met Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Sue for lunch before all 5 cousins had their picture made together. Needless to say, it's quite a chore to get 5 kids sitting, smiling, and looking the same direction at the same time. The pictures turned out cute - no thanks to the photographer! After that we went to the Keesling's house for dinner. That night Kacey's cousin, Lacy, got to meet Addison for the first time.
Tuesday was Addison's first Halloween! She stayed at Grandmommy and Grandaddy's house and greeted the trick or treaters. Later she went to the Peoples' house so they could be her very first trick or treat.
Here's Addison spending some time with her Grandmommy.
Wednesday was our last day in Atlanta. We were very sad to leave, but looking forward to our next visit at Christmas. It was so great to see so many friends and family and for them to meet Addison for the first time. Here's Addison spending some time with Grandaddy before leaving for the airport.
The plane ride home was a little harder than the one going to Atlanta. The altitude must have been hurting Addison's ears, so she cried a lot of the trip home. Luckily my prayers were answered and I was sitting surrounded by 4 grandpa's who loved her and weren't at all upset with her crying. The "Grandpa Crew" was a HUGE help during the flight!
