Cowboy "Boops"

We spent Sunday at the ranch in Cedar Lane with my family. While the girls were inside sorting through the stuff in the house, we came across these old cowboy boots...or "boops" as Addison calls them. We aren't 100% sure who they belonged to, but we're pretty sure they were Jed's when he was just about Addison's age. Addison LOVED the fact that they made noise when she walked. She just walked around the room taking tiny steps, clicking her heels, and staring at her "boops."

Papa Jo's good friend and neighbor, Mr. Willie, came by to visit his "purty girl" (Which, by the way, used to be me, but I've been replaced by Addison. I'm okay with that!) Here she is telling him about her "boops" and all of the animal sounds she can make. We just love getting to see Mr. and Mrs. Willie when we're down there! He reminds me so much of my Papa Jo!
