Rockport

On Friday we left Corpus and headed to Rockport where we met my family for a fun weekend getaway. We were there to celebrate Nama's birthday, which was back in May. On Friday afternoon Kacey dropped us off at the Rockport Aquatic Center (which is awesome!) for a few hours of swimming while he worked. The rest of the family got there later that day. On Saturday morning we headed out to the beach for a few hours. We had a great time just spending time all together.

Uncle Jed, the fisherman in the family, bought Addison her very own princess fishing pole. She LOVED it and carried it around with her everywhere. She walked around the house practicing all morning. Later that day Jed helped Addison put that fishing pole to use, although she wasn't looking to catch a fish. She informed us that she was hoping to catch a mermaid, and that if she did, she'd keep her.
