Peacocks

Hemingbough had about 10 peacocks roaming the grounds. They were beautiful, and Addison loved them! Apparently we were there during mating season, so we got to see them strut their stuff (open up their feathers) quite a few times. The whole time we were there and for the past two weeks since we've left, Addison has talked non-stop about the peacocks. If you see her, she'll tell you that they have "feavers" and what sound they make.

There were several peacocks around Addison in this picture and she doesn't know which way to look.

My personal favorite was the all white peacock. Wow, was he gorgeous! The lady who ran the place said that the other peacocks won't have anything to do with him. He would sit up in the tree right inside the gate at night. I felt sorry for him being all alone.
