4 Months Old

Sweet Macie Kate is 4 months old. She is still just the sweetest and happiest baby. She absolutely adores her big sister and will turn her head and contort her body just to see her if she's in the room. When Addison talks, Macie Kate usually grins and coos at her. A few times she'll just start cracking up while Addison is talking. It's the cutest thing, and it makes Addison so happy. Macie Kate was sleeping through the night until we took her out of town a couple of times. She's slowly but surely getting back to her normal night routine. Still, though, when she does get up at night it's only to eat for a few minutes before she's right back to sleep. (VERY different from her sister) God has blessed us beyond imagination with this sweet girl. She's only been in our lives for 4 short months, but I can't imagine our family without her. Just like her big sister, she's brought so much joy into our lives and we love her more than imaginable!

She's still a tiny little thing. At her 4 month check-up on October 22 she was 23 1/2 inches long and only 11lb. 6oz. Her height is the 25th percentile, but her weight is barely in the 5th percentile. Her doctor isn't worried about her though because she has so much energy and is right on track developmentally. She even called her "advanced." :) What mother doesn't love hearing that about her child?
