First Concussion

Back in September Addison fell out of her chair at the kitchen table and landed on her head. I checked her carefully after the fall and she showed no signs of being hurt. However, a few hours later we were all in the car headed to my parents' house for the weekend when she got quiet (which is very unlike her), turned pale, and started throwing up. We immediately turned around and took her to the Urgent Care in town. From there they sent us to the emergency room where they determined that she had a mild concussion from the fall. As you can see from the pictures she started feeling better, and she wasn't going to let a little concussion ruin her popcicles. :) She was fine and we still made it to Nama and Papa's house that night...at 2:00 AM!!! We figured we needed to watch her sleeping anyway, so we might as well go ahead and drive. We were all happy to put that crazy adventure behind us, and we were so thankful Addison wasn't hurt more than she was!
