Baking Cookies

This morning Addison and I baked cookies using Mama Gale's famous oatmeal cookie recipe. This was Addison's first attempt helping me bake. One word in particular comes to mind when I think of baking with a very active toddler...MESSY! But we both had so much fun. She helped pour some of the ingredients into the bowl, but was way more interested in eating the dough (as you can see in the pictures below). There's no telling how much she actually ate. Every time she took a bite she'd say "Mmm, good." She wasn't near as interested in eating the actual cookie though.
